Cu+2 Copper Remover
Description
Bore Tech Cu+2 Copper Remover™ uses a revolutionary and patented chemical technology that rapidly removes copper fouling and is 100% barrel safe, odor free, and biodegradable. Cu+2 Copper Remover’s cutting-edge formulation is ammonia free and removes heavy copper fouling faster than the competition without the safety hazards, harmful toxicity, and offensive odors found in petro-ammonia based solvents.
Developed through years of advanced chemical research, the Cu+2 Copper Remover™ is the patented copper remover that surpasses the rigorous demands of today’s top shooters and cleans copper fouling faster than traditional petro-ammonia based solvents.
Cu+2 COPPER REMOVER IS 100%
BARREL SAFE | NON HAZARDOUS | AMMONIA FREE |
ODOR FREE | BIODEGRADABLE | USER FRIENDLY |
Cu+2 Copper Remover’s proprietary formulation and cleaning process is designed for one thing; continued, rapid and complete extraction of all copper fouling in your firearm’s bore. The key to the Cu+2 Copper Remover’s unparalleled copper removing capabilities is an industry unique two-step process.
In the first step, the Cu+2 Copper Remover rapidly oxidizes and breaks down copper fouling by reconfiguring its electronic state. Once the copper fouling is oxidized in step one, a specially enhanced binding agent within the Cu+2 Copper Remover’s formulation acts like a magnet capturing the copper and rendering it unable to redeposit in the firearms bore. This exclusive technology allows for the complete extraction of copper fouling at full strength without becoming saturated and losing effectiveness.
Our copper solvent is 100% ammonia-free and barrel safe. It will not etch or harm barrel steels and can be safely left to soak in the bore for an infinite period of time. In addition, the Cu+2 Copper Remover also contains a short-term rust preventative, which shields and conditions the firearm’s bore after cleaning. Just dampen your last patch with Cu+2 Copper Remover and your bore will be protected against rust and corrosion for up to 2 weeks.
Simply put, Bore Tech’s Cu+2 Copper Remover works faster and better without the fear of barrel damage and the dreadful ammonia smell. After years of trying, this is the copper remover you’ll be buying.

Q: What is the difference between Cu+2 Copper Remover and Eliminator Bore Cleaner?
A: The Cu+2 Copper Remover is recommended for extreme copper fouling situations such as barrel break-in, high round counts or neglected barrels and specifically removes copper fouling only. Eliminator removes both carbon and copper fouling and is recommend for most regular fouling situations. Please see our Chemical Selection Guide located in the Specification Tab or in our Knowledge Center for more information.
Q: Is Cu+2 Copper Remover safe to leave soak in a barrel overnight?

I have worked in the firearms industry for over 30 years and as a result become pretty jaded to the "new, great & green" oils and solvents. Most being at best no better and many worse than the what I have been using since the 80s. However this year a friend convinced me to try Bore Tech and I have been very impressed!! I started with the carbon cleaner for .22LR with excellent results so I ordered the Eliminator & Copper solvents. All have preformed magnificently! Highly Recommend!!!
I’ve used a lot of different solvents and cleaners to clean the bore of copper. Most are pretty noxious. This stuff is pleasant to use and works better than anything I’ve used. I switched to this since I have young kids and can be interrupted during the cleaning process. Other products will damage your barrel if you leave it in too long. This will not. Great stuff.
Purchased this from a local gun shop, and wasn't sure I was making the right choice. You know, because I didn't have the inter-web telling me what to think and all. Shop owner said try it. It was cheaper then the latest youtube giz, so I did. Holy cow!!! This literally saved a Browning BAR Safari from the chopping block. Cleaned the barrel per instructions, and went from 4" groups to a 1" group at 100 yds. Thanks Bore Tech!!!
