Extreme Clean’s highly advanced chemical formulation utilizes a sophisticated blend of surfactants, penetrants, suspending agents that quickly loosens and releases fouling from the surface. This enhanced formulation provides a deep cleaning and also effectively neutralizes and removes the corrosive residues found in surplus ammunition and black powder.

Bore Tech Extreme Clean Use Instructions
UNLOAD FIREARM
1. Dilute concentrate to a 40:1 ratio (3.2oz of Solution to 1 Gallon Water)
2. Heat Solution between 120˚-140˚ F.
3. Use 10-20 minute cycles in an ultrasonic cleaner*.
Do not leave parts soak in cleaner for extended periods as they may tarnish.
4. Thoroughly rinse solution from parts after cleaning.
5. Dry & Lubricate parts immediately after rinsing with Bore Tech Friction Guard XP Gun Oil.
*For anodized aluminum & polymer parts, check every 3-5 minutes to ensure safety.
*Thoroughly clean ultrasonic tank before use if it was used to clean brass cases prior to guns parts. This prevents the possibility of brass particles bonding to gun parts

Q: Can I increase the concentration of Extreme Clean for really dirty parts?
A: You can increase the concentration to a 20:1 ratio (6.4oz of Solution to 1 Gallon Water). For anodized aluminum parts, check every 3-5 minutes to ensure no discoloration is evident.
Q: Can I leave my parts soak in Extreme Clean?
A: We do not recommend letting your parts soak in the solution for extended periods of time as some parts could begin to tarnish. If needed parts can be soaked overnight but should be removed, rinsed and lubricated according to the manufactures instructions.
Q: Does the Extreme Clean contain a lubricant or a rust preventative?
A: No, the Extreme Cleanis a cleaner not a lubricant and does not contain any rest preventatives. Use Bore Tech Friction Guard XP Gun Oil for superior lubrication and rust prevention.
Q: Can the Extreme Clean solution be reused?
A: Yes, the Extreme Clean solution can be reused many times until the cleaning efficiency is reduced. After use, let the debris in the solution settle to the bottom of the tank and pour off the remaining cleaner. Clean/rinse debris from tank and refill with used cleaner.
Q: Can the Extreme Cleanbe used on polymer pistol slides and grips?
A: Yes, the Extreme Cleancan be used on polymer pistol frames, grips, etc.
Q: Does Extreme Cleancontain ammonia or any other part damaging components?
A: No, the Extreme Clean Parts Cleaneris 100% ammonia free and safe and safe on most parts.
Q: Is the Extreme Clean safe if it gets on my rifle stock?
A: The Extreme Cleanis safe on all polymer, fiberglass, and laminated stocks. However, if the Extreme Cleancomes in contact with an oiled wooden stock, it might cause a blemish by removing the oil and require reapplication of sealing oil.
Q: Can the Extreme Cleanbe used on nickel plating?
A: Yes, the Extreme Cleancan be used on nickel plating but cannot be left in contact for more than 5-10 minutes. Extended contact can lead to darkening or discoloration of the plating. Do not use on plating that has been damaged or worn.
